Statement of Veterans for Compassionate Care LLC, March 10, 2015:
Today’s bill brings a glimmer of rationality and compassion to the medical marijuana landscape. National access to medicinal cannabis within the Veterans Health Administration removes the illogical and unethical geographic bans now confounding our veterans and their caregivers. Veterans for Compassionate Care supports this historic bill and urges further science-based policy reforms to allow broader research, treatment and risk-reduction for our wounded veterans.
